ONE TO ONE LEARN TO CYCLE & BIKEABILITY LESSONS

For all Ages & Abilities

I work with individuals or groups, for cyclists with a normal bike or an electric bike and my teaching is tailored to learner requirements. Initially, the training will be off road in paved areas until sufficient confidence is gained to venture onto the roads. All locations are risk assessed, my regular training location is Longhorsley in central Northumberland but elsewhere by agreement and mileage payment. Prices are based on £40 per hour, reduced for two or three people sharing or more than one hour.

  • Assess your confidence, ability and needs
  • Offer you confident cycling tuition and road safety cycle training
  • Help you plan your regular route safely
  • Prepare you, your bike, lights, carrying items before your ride
  • Ride your specific journey plan with you
  • Clarify your rights and responsibilities on the road
  • Help you with secure storage for your bike
  • Delivered on a one to one basis, contact me to discuss your requirements. I can also discuss with your employer becoming an accredited cycle friendly employer.

Longhorsley After School Club

In order to compliment the Bikeability which was offered to year 4 children in Longhorsley First school and Cycle with jan provided a one hour after school club for the first 6 weeks of the summer term for children in years 1 – 3. Children were taught bike handling skills and games in the playground.
